Educating, empowering and celebrating the past, present and future of African and Caribbean culture, history and its contemporary resonance.

Discussing aspects of modern culture such as politics as well as developing the skills and knowledge that go alongside a successful career.

 

Environmental Society

The environmental society looks into possible changes we can make to ensure our Birmingham campus is more environmentally friendly.

We will be collaborating with other campuses to what measures they have put and in place and then adopt these changes on our campus.

This society will provide you with the opportunity to influence the steps all ULaw campuses take in protecting out environment.

 

Football

The society will enable a range of activities to take place such as football sessions and potential tournaments.

This will help wellbeing and help to increase social activities available at the campus.

 

International Students

The Society is aimed to provide a space for International, EU and Home students to pull together and celebrate diversity of backgrounds and experience through themed socials, cultural and networking events.

Our mission is to make sure that the students from abroad feel supported and enjoy the time at the university to the fullest, with Home students having an opportunity to interact with students from different socio-cultural backgrounds.

In addition, we offer support and guidance to facilitate adaptation to life in the UK.

 

Law Society

Law Society Birmingham aims to ensure students have an enjoyable experience at university.

With social and professional events lined up, our Law Society is a diverse and dynamic society providing you with tips and advice to enhance your development, making you stand out in the competitive graduate world.

With up to date information about legal events/opportunities that are going on, we will exclusively inform our members of these opportunities before everyone else.

Sikh Society

A variety of events will take place to encourage students to learn and understand the history of Sikhism.

Do you want to learn another language? Well, here at the Spanish Society we're offering free Spanish lessons taught by the university's very own Julia Tozer!

Join us in learning a new language as well as some Spanish Fun!
